Our contributor Fabian Purini went to the Mid Atlantic Mega Meet sponsored by the Mischief crew, very well known for their Gumball 3000 videos and local “antics”. There were close to 500 of the sickest cars on the east coast at the meet. More than a couple have been known from Canibeat’s “XclusivAlliance” as well as Stance Nation. Check out his blog report!
“The Mid Atlantic Mega Meet was held in a mall parking lot in Glen Burnie, Maryland. This event took place before, back in 2005 and 2006 and then again this year. They’re hoping to keep it up annually and were able to do so this year because of a friend of the crew having owned the building in the mall who’s lot we were meeting in.”
“In addition to the meet being held, the crew was taking donations for Toys For Tots. Crowd and noise control was held down by local law enforcement that were brought into the parking lot to ensure everyone’s safety. The Marines with Toys For Tots left the event with over $700 donated to the cause, and an additional $340 was collected along with several boxes of canned goods, clothes, and other supplies to help victims of the latest big hurricane the East Coast suffered (hurricane Sandy).”
“All in all, a very good time and I’ll most certainly be attending the Mid Atlantic Mega Meet as long as it’s held.”
